As part of the Museum’s 130th anniversary celebrations, we are delighted to be hosting a series of talks by our distinguished Museum patrons.

On Thursday 29 November, join Sir Rob Margetts, CBE FREng, FIChemE as he gives a fascinating talk sharing his personal experiences of doing business in Russia over the past 40 years.

Sir Rob has been Deputy Chairman of a major Russian-based mining company, PJSC Uralkali, listed on both the London and Moscow Stock Exchanges, for over 7 years. He has been Chairman of Legal & General Group PLC, Vice Chairman of ICI PLC, Chairman of BOC Group PLC and Director of English China Clays, the Senior Non-Executive Director of Anglo American PLC and a director of many other international companies and organisations.

With the profile of Russia currently so visible, this is a unique opportunity to discover more about the way the country has evolved over nearly half a century.

The talk starts at 7pm and tickets for Members at £10 and Non Members at £12 are now available and include a welcome drink – please book in advance through the Museum office.
