Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce has launched a new Business Barometer survey to capture the views of local businesses now that COVID restrictions have eased.
Previous Barometers have focussed on business confidence and the new survey will gather views from retailers, professional service providers, bars, restaurants and venues as they get ‘back to business’. New questions focus on how business are adjusting to life after 19th July, changes to their operations and customer behaviour. It also looks at specific concerns and challenges such as recruitment.
Craig McGowan, President of the Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce said: “I hope as many people as possible will complete our new survey. It’s a vital part of our work to find out what businesses are thinking and will help us make strong representation on their behalf.”
“17 months on from the first lockdown, COVID continues to have a significant impact on our collective confidence as a business community. But it’s also confidence that is playing a key part in getting our businesses and our town back on its feet.”
The survey is open until 18th August 2021 and the Chamber will publish the results later in the summer.
