We’re delighted that Chamber Treasurer, Caroline Warrington, has been chosen to feature in a series of case studies to mark International Women’s Day 2021. Waverley Borough Council have highlighted eight local women who have established their own successful businesses in Waverley, exploring the background, highlights and challenges of their careers.

Caroline, founder of Pennywise Accounting Ltd, plays an integral role in the life of the Chamber and in the local voluntary and community sector. She also spearheaded the development of the Haslemere Business Centre, a Chamber initiative providing serviced office space to rent on a desk-by-desk basis to give fledgling businesses a flexible alternative to a serviced office.

Caroline’s reflections on what it means to be a woman in business, whilst juggling the demands of family life, other people’s expectations and personal ambition are sure to chime with many women and will inspire others.  You can read more about Caroline’s journey on the Waverley Borough Council website.
