We are deeply saddened & shocked to share the news of the sudden & unexpected passing of Peter Jones, owner of The Sports Locker and much-valued member of our Chamber & community.
Peter had been trading in Haslemere for over 20 years and was a passionate advocate for our town, its businesses & the importance of shopping local. He was a great supporter of the Chamber & generously gave his time as a committee member for a number of years. We will miss his energy, his positivity & his genuine enthusiasm for Haslemere & its business community. Peter cared about the town & the people in it, and always ready to get involved & offer his support. Quite simply Peter was one of life’s good guys and he will be very greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences & thoughts go out to Peter’s family & everyone at The Sports Locker at this incredibly sad time. @thesportslockeruk
