Happy New Year to all my clients both current and potential.
With 2020 upon us, please advise your staff to take care when writing invoices, receipts, quotes, estimates or any other important documents not to truncate the year to simply ’20’ as in 6/1/20 for example.
It is all too easy for anyone with bad intentions to add figures after the ’20’ making the date show as 2019, 2018 or similar. Sadly we all need to be aware that not everyone has your best interests at heart.
