Haslemere businesses get an airing on BBC local radio

Chamber Vice President Clive Rollinson was one of several members and other local people who were interviewed by BBC Surrey/Sussex presenters during the stations’ Big Bus Tour when it stopped in Haslemere this week.

The visit gave local businesses and other organisations a golden opportunity to promote themselves and the town to listeners throughout Surrey and Sussex – and further afield for people listening via the internet.

Interviews were conducted in or near the BBC mobile studio ‘bus’ as well as live from various shops in the High Street area – showing the immense flexibility of modern broadcast technology.

Haslemere featured in the 9:00-12:00 slot, hosted by Danny Pike, and the 12:00-16:00 slot with Allison Ferns. Both programmes are available on the BBC i-Player until 2 November.
