Peter Searight, the award winning photographer of the Remarkable Studio is holding an exhibition of his work at The Haslemere Museum from Thursday 11 October – Saturday 27 October. Chamber members are most welcome to the Friday evening preview on 12 October from 7 to 9 pm at The Haslemere Museum.
This is Peter’s fifth exhibition a The Haslemere Museum and third solo show. Peter and Louise started The Remarkable Studio in 2004 to promote Peter’s art and landscape photography, and his work has won many awards and been exhibited in London and elsewhere in the UK, as well as locally. Commissions in ‘People Photography’ – Portraits, Wedding etc –take up much their time now, but the art and landscape work remains very important to him. Many of the photographs are atmospheric portraits of the Sussex countryside and have become increasingly abstract in recent years to convey the beauty and calm of this lovely area.
