Today, 29 July 2019, the Haslemere & District Chamber of Trade & Commerce has launched its first Haslemere Business Barometer report into local business confidence.
The results of the new quarterly survey show that overall Haslemere’s local businesses take a balanced view of prospects for the next three months with Brexit and the associated political and economic uncertainty forming the most dominant business concern. Responses also show that Haslemere’s local businesses are apprehensive about their ability to recruit staff, the level of footfall in shopping areas and the need to attract new customers and identify new revenue streams.
