Various roles will need filling at the Annual General Meeting in April, but as the committee is slightly below strength at present, it would be good co-opt some newcomers now, so that they can learn the ropes ahead of the new Chamber year.
Committee members are expected to attend one evening meeting a month (usually the first Wednesday). It’s a two-hour session, when the Committee discusses finance, membership, events and any other business. Committee members are also expected to devote some additional time – as much as they can spare – during the month to other Chamber activity, depending on their responsibilities or areas of interest/expertise.
