The Physiotherapy Centre at Holy Cross Hospital is offering a free telephone or video physiotherapy consultation to NHS staff.
Jo Hounsome, Team Leader at The Physiotherapy Centre says: “We know how hard our NHS staff are working right now in the battle against the spread of COVID-19. It’s likely that some might be suffering from some aches and pains caused by a new or existing condition. As a show of appreciation for all that they are doing, we want to provide our NHS colleagues with access to some complimentary physiotherapy advice to help with managing their physical discomfort.”
Any NHS worker who is interested in taking up the offer should phone 01428 647647 or email email@example.com.
Although The Physiotherapy Centre has currently stopped face to face appointments, they are offering patients the option of telephone and video consultations.
Jo Hounsome says: “Our clinic may be temporarily closed but we are very much open for business albeit in a slightly different way. We have changed how we offer our services so that people can still receive physiotherapy treatment. In many cases, virtual physiotherapy is just as effective for rehabilitation as an in-person consultation. Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing virtual classes and a range of online support for our patients.”
