35 people from across Waverley participated in The Waverley Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) Awards launch at the Lythe Hill Hotel on Monday evening. Christine Martin, Waverley BIG Award Committee Chair explained the programme objectives are to “promote and celebrate business excellence within the Waverley District”.
We were joined by the leader of Leader of the Surrey County Council, David Hodge, Leader of the Waverley Council, Julia Potts and our local mayors including of course our own Mayor Councillor David Round and Melanie Odell.
The Haslemere contingent were well represented by Craig McGowan, Brenda Roper and Eddie Paterson from the Chamber and our Award local sponsors:
